Century Air is pleased to announce the newest addition to our fleet. N5522A is a fully equipped Cessna 172SP G1000 boasting a fully integrated Garmin Auto Pilot with WAAS capability and synthetic vision technology (SVT). With this capability, instrument pilots can fly to LPV minimums and experience the full IFR GPS world. Century Air's G1000 simulator is an exact replica of this airplane, allowing students to train and transition into the airplane with ease. Bob Hanrahan has been instructing with Century Air since 2006 and it's been a great 10 years having him work with us!  He's a 3000+ hour ATP and CFI with additional CFII and MEI ratings. Congratulations to Century Air graduate Miss Saki Chen on completing her recent round-the-world journey, and for making a name for herself as the youngest Chinese pilot to circumnavigate the globe in a single engine aircraft. Saki began her journey in Cleveland Ohio, where she took off from Cuyahoga County Airport in a Bonanza A-36 with two safety pilots on board for assistance. The 58 day journey covered 24,000 miles! Mohammad Ajaj is Century Air's latest proud graduate of the professional pilot program (seen here with Richard Greene, right).
