Guy Peleg

Guy Peleg began training with Century Air from zero time and has since earned his private certificate, instrument rating and commercial certificate.  After a successful career in Software Engineering, Guy enrolled in Century Air with a goal of eventually starting his own Part 135 Charter Company and realizing his second dream of becoming a pilot and aviation business owner. After earning his Commercial Pilot Certificate in March, Guy invested in a beautiful Technam P2010 - a single-engine, 4-seat, high wing aircraft which is similar to the Cessna 182.  With the goal of building hours and valuable flight experience, Guy first [...]

Brian Moscioni

It is always with great pride that we watch our students achieve their goals and pursue their dreams after graduating from Century Air.  Brian Moscioni has continued to do just that as he joins the ranks of the US Navy’s elite tactical jet pilots. Following in his father’s footsteps, Brian knew early on that the love of aviation was in his blood. When he was just 16, his father took him to McGuire Air Force Base to see the Thunderbirds in action; an unforgettable experience for any pilot. After the show, Brian was able to meet the pilots and collect photos, [...]

Joshua Weinstein

Our latest spotlight is on Joshua Weinstein, a long time customer and employee of Century Air. Over 12 years ago, Josh Weinstein began working with Century Air as ground support personnel, while he was also attending college to earn his teaching degree.  He was hired in a Public School District right out of college and began the pursuit of his academic career while continuing to work weekends at the airport. Since childhood Josh has had a passion for flying, and in 2007, as a hobby, he earned his private pilot certificate with Century Air.  He has enjoyed the fun of [...]

Anthony Polifrone

This month's spotlight is on private pilot Anthony Polifrone.  Anthony has achieved a lot in his life prior to becoming a pilot.  His background is extensive - including studies in architecture, engineering and medicine.  As the son of a neurosurgeon, you might expect him to follow in his father's footsteps but instead he developed his own successful medical career that has lasted the past 30 years.  At 50 years old he decided it was time to change course and pursue his life long interest in flying.  It's a passion he has had since he was 10 years old after taking his first flight in [...]

Jordan Behrle

Jordan Behrle has certainly made a name for himself with Century Air! He is one of the youngest students ever to graduate the private pilot program. Jordan (right) is seen here with his father, Keith, upon returning from his first flight as a newly certificated private pilot - and his dad was his first passenger. Just two years ago, Jordan and his father walked through the doors of Century Air on Jordan's 15th birthday and enrolled him in the private pilot program. A year later, at just 16 years old, he celebrated his first solo flight and then earned his [...]

David Mosquera

David Mosquera knew he wanted to be a pilot since he was five years old, and at the age of twenty-three he began to realize his dream when he enrolled in the private pilot course at Century Air. That was back in 2007, and today David holds a commercial pilot certificate (single and multi-engine) with an instrument rating, and he has logged over 1500 flight hours. Amazingly, he did it all while raising two daughters and supporting his family working various jobs - mostly as an airport limousine driver. In February 2012, after completing his instrument rating (and while training [...]

Jerry Krivitzky

Jerry Krivitzky has been a long time client of Century Air since he began his private pilot training in 2002. Thereafter he earned his instrument and commercial while also piloting his personally owned single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza. Over the years, Jerry has been generously donating his time to Angel Flight NE, a non-profit organization, where he has built up over 2700 flight hours transporting patients to destinations for life-saving medical care. A worthy cause indeed! We congratulate Jerry on the addition of his multi-engine rating to his list of achievements. He completed this rating in Century Air's Twin Comanche (seen here) [...]
