Congratulations, Susana Restrepo – Professional Pilot Graduate!

Susana Restrepo recently completed the Professional Pilot course and is our first female international (M-1) student to earn her Commercial Pilot Certificate (single and multi-engine with an instrument rating). Throughout her training, she has performed to a level of excellence! Susana, age 20, came to the United States from Colombia only two years ago (with very few English skills) to take the training necessary to become a commercial pilot. She has achieved that goal, and so much more! Her English is now excellent and her piloting skills are too. She definitely takes after her father with her desire to fly. [...]

Ivan Kudlak – July 2013

Ivan is the newest proud graduate of Century Air's Private Pilot course. He arrived from Ukraine in early June, and completed the course in only six weeks. This fact-track style of learning is the choice for many international students due to their limited stay in the USA. When asked what was the hardest or most difficult part of his training, he replied, "I didn't run into any problems at all. I came fully prepared and didn't waste any time." Ivan will be continuing his aviation studies at Ukraine Flight Academy and intends to return to Century Air next year to [...]

Joseph Ben Avi

Where are you from? Israel What rating did you recently earn? I got my instrument rating in April. What was the hardest and/or most memorable part of your training? Getting the instrument rating was the hardest so far. The foggles gave me a headache! I understand you served in the Israeli Army. Yes, I was soldier. I'm glad it's over, but I do miss certain moments like when we put a bucket full of little frogs in the new recruits' room. Why did you choose Century Air for your training? I found Century Air online, and after checking out several [...]

Christopher Corley

Where are you from? Pequannock, New Jersey. What rating did you earn?  When? I earned my Private Pilot certificate last month. What was the hardest and/or most memorable part of your training? The first solo was definitely the most memorable part of my training. I'd been looking forward to that moment since I was a young kid. How did you come to choose Century Air? I found the Century Air website while I was stationed in Japan (while serving in the US Marine Corps as a Satellite Communications Technician) and discovered that the GI Bill would help to pay for [...]
